Sunnywood Membership coming late December 2022

Do I need a membership?
The Sunnywood Project Membership is optional - you do not need to be a member to join any of our events or activities.

However, membership will provide you with automatic entry to our events removing the requirement to individually and repeatedly book for each activity.

Why should I become a Sunnywood Project Member?

By joining a Sunnywood adventure, not only will you be embracing the outdoors for your own physical, mental and social wellbeing, but your membership fee will help fund a range of services to improve the lives of young people in the local area.

𝘿𝙪𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙡𝙖𝙨𝙩 𝙩𝙬𝙚𝙡𝙫𝙚 𝙢𝙤𝙣𝙩𝙝𝙨 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙎𝙪𝙣𝙣𝙮𝙬𝙤𝙤𝙙 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙟𝙚𝙘𝙩 𝙝𝙖𝙨 𝙨𝙥𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙧 6600 𝙝𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙨 𝙨𝙪𝙥𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙢𝙤𝙧𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙣 200 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙜 𝙥𝙚𝙤𝙥𝙡𝙚.

The Sunnywood Project is a not-for-profit organisation. We are constitutionally bound to ensure that any profit we make goes straight back into services that use the outdoors to enrich the lives of young people and their families.

𝙒𝙚 𝙧𝙚𝙡𝙮 𝙤𝙣 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙟𝙤𝙞𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙪𝙨 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙖𝙣 𝙖𝙙𝙫𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙚 𝙩𝙤 𝙠𝙚𝙚𝙥 𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙨𝙚𝙧𝙫𝙞𝙘𝙚𝙨 𝙧𝙪𝙣𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜:

The Sunnywood Project does receive some funds from organisations such as the National Lottery, Sport England and the local authority. But this kind of funding is never guaranteed long-term and it is often restricted which means we can only really use it for specific projects.

The contributions you pay towards joining a Sunnywood adventure are unrestricted which means the funds are not tied to any specific project. Having this flexibility is really important to us as we can design programmes that are directly suited to what young people feel they need in the area.

We have huge plans for 2023 and are determined to increase our reach and use the outdoors to support even more young people and their families.

By becoming a Sunnywood Project Member you’ll be helping us to:

Provide a purposeful learning environment at the new Sunnywood Hub based at the Burrs Country Park
Provide subsidised counselling sessions
Provide a series of nature-based intervention programmes for young people and their families
Provide access to the Duke of Edinburgh Award for disadvantaged young people
And much much more!

Monthly instalments: £20 a month for 12 months
