River Study at The Burrs Country Park
Join The Sunnywood Project for a fun and educational exploration of the River Irwell! Discover how the weather affects the river levels, how the riverbank has changed shape through erosion and explore the velocity of the river too! This activity is perfect for budding geographers aged 9+.
Don't miss this opportunity to study the River Irwell through a practical close-up investigation with The Sunnywood Project followed by s'mores around the campfire!
Event Details:
Parking: Please park at any of the free car parks avaible within The Burrs Country Park.
Please note: Vehicle access is NOT permitted on Stock Street.
Meeting Location: The Sunnywood Project Hub, 15 Stock Street
Equipment needed: Dress for the weather and wear appropriate footwear. Wellies advised.
